Response to Kino Eye

The Kino Eye was an interesting text to read. What caught my attention was how the author, Dziga Vertov, describes the eye of a camera. Vertov points out how artificial intelligence has become the normality or even the superior when capturing images. That point caught my attention because previously I did not consider how limited we constrain ourselves when capturing pictures in our mundane lives. As humans, we go through life so quickly that we fail to recognize the depth of our surroundings. I recognized how though our eyes have a such broad range, we limit ourselves to what we see or even in some aspects, what we choose to view. The Kino-Eye explains how simplicity can capture true detail and can create such a variety of emotions.
